Ten day Volunteer Trip with Honora Wolfe, L.Ac
Honora Lee Wolfe, has been involved in professional health care education since 1976. Director at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy for five years, Honora went on to study tuina massage at the Shanghai College of TCM and completed her acupuncture training in 1988. She has taught at many national and regional acupuncture colleges and conferences in North America and Europe and is the author or co-author of several books, including Prince Wen Hui's Cook: Chinese Dietary Therapy, How to Have a Healthy Pregnancy Healthy Birth with Chinese Medicine, Managing Menopause Naturally with Chinese Medicine, Better Breast Health Naturally with Chinese Medicine, and most recently Points for Profit: The Essential Guide to Practice Success for Acupuncturists. Both Honora and her husband Bob Flaws have led many trips to China over the years and have much experience as tour guides overseas. In 2011 and 2012, Honora and Bob both volunteered for several weeks in Nepal with Mindful Medicine Worldwide, the second time leading a group of students and teaching them pulse diagnosis, as well as mentoring them in clinic.

Clinic will be open 10-4 Sunday-Friday with a day off on Saturday
Volunteers will observe Honora in clinic, learn tui-na and practice new clinic skills. If practitioners are licensed, they will also treat patients with Honora's supervisorship.
A weekend trip to Boudhanath, the Tibetan setttlement nearby will be led by Honora on the weekend.
Cost: $1,800 includes housing, meals, clinic supplies and teachings
Cost does not include airfare which runs approximately $1600-$2000 from the US to Kathmandu Nepal.
Transportation within Nepal is also not included so spending money is encouraged for transport budget. This includes bus fair and taxi rides to and from the clinic to off-site trips. We recommend a budget of $100 for transport for the 10 day trip.
What to bring:
Sleeping bag, clothes that are professional and cover your legs and arms, closed toed shoes for clinic, comfortable walking sandals for hiking, toiletries, cell phone unlocked (not necessary), laptop with extra battery for charging during power outtages, flashlight or headlamp, water bottle.
